I recently ended a lease with them of a year long. I would advise against renting with them as they are very carefully worded in their contracts so that tenants cannot do anything about getting their full refund. The location itself had employees that were very helpful but the person assigned to manage my specific property was useless when it came to answering any questions I had ever asked. Mostly never responding. I was charged a cleaning fee of 250 for the carpet when I had the entire thing covered in an insulated mat my entire stay and I left it better than I received it. I was also charged 750 for the paint even after I filled every hole with sparkle. Also a cleaning fee of 150. I had some charges that were fair and that was fine but the paint and carpet cleaning were unreal. Never again. Attached is how I left the property, better than I received it.

Ernst and Haas Management Co. has been very quick and decisive with regards to our maintenance requests in our home. Once a maintenance request is submitted in less then 24 hours Rubi Tello reaches out to us via email and phone call to clarify our maintenance request. If there are any adjustments to scheduling she has let us know in a timely manner. Overall, I have been very satisfied with the care under their management.

We are just starting with Ernst & Hass and the experience has been remarkable so far. A good friend of ours has used them for years and recommended them. We were hesitant to pay a management fee, though theirs is very reasonable, and we thought we could manage the building ourselves. But being 1.5 hours away and busy with work and kids, things were just falling through the cracks. I finally convinced my husband to start with the company when we had a vacancy and I knew there was no way we could do the showings and I was worried about properly screening candidates. David Haas has been absolutely amazing. He has great people working with him that do good work at reasonable prices. Just not having to find people to do minor repairs is worth the management fee. But David has fantastic suggestions on what needs to get done with new leases, issues we've had with tenants, safety improvements, etc. He has patiently gotten us to go through all of the documents and files he needs to get things on track. I didn't realize one commercial tenant had built-in rent increases he hadn't been paying and also common area payments, etc. He did a thorough inspection of each unit and there were so many issues that I was really glad to know about and he'll get the tenants to correct or he will correct. Reading through the few lower review, they mostly disgruntled tenants who didn't get their full deposit back. As a landlord, I'm happy Ernst & Haas is thorough enough to find issues and get them fixed if the tenant is at fault. I'll update this review if things go awry, but right now - this is the best decision we've made in a long time. Our friend who referred Ernst & Haas said the same thing - best decision he's made.

We can’t say enough great things about Ernst & Haas MgMt. They are kind, professional, responsive. Everything you would want in a company when it comes to your rental needs. THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY WILL TRY TO TAKE YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT I tried renting a unit with Ernst&Haas. They rushed me through the entire process threatening I might lose my rental if I didn't act quickly. When I brought the security deposit, they tried to make me sign an agreement essentially waving my right to my security deposit. When I suggested making changes to the contract before signing they told me to find a different apartment. Contracts are only valid if they are agreed upon by both parties. Do NOT work with this company. They will attempt to steal your security deposit with unethical contracts.
